Customer Experience (CX) / Service Designer - Cork


What we need:

An experienced CX / Service Designer with experience in conducting extensive user research, building Jobs Maps / Journey Maps with a view to creating satisfying or compelling experiences for users of our products, with a focus on reshaping the customer experience to maximise usability and satisfaction. These individuals must have an expert understanding of touchpoints across the entire customer journey.



  • 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in creating research documents, presentations, data visualisations, customer journey / jobs maps, process flows and wireframes.
  • Experience of data visualisation in complex data-driven products and environments.
  • Demonstrated ability building cross-functional relationships and communicating at all levels of an organisation.
  • Agile experience.
  • Rights to live and work in Ireland.


  • Process Mapping/Consulting or Information Architecture background would be an advantage.
  • Experience using a process modelling tool such as Promapp or ADONIS.
  • Past experience working with Data focused projects.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and other Atlassian tools.


Some duties will include (but not limited to)

  • Create Jobs Maps and process flows to translate user research and design ideas.
  • Analyse, propose and develop ways to consistently improve product usability.
  • Research and implementing the latest design trends and principles.
  • Working closely with the UI Designer and development team.
  • Responsible for the selection of a suitable mapping toolset and mapping out the jobs supported by the software “as is” and “to be”.
  • Understanding the client’s environments in order to deliver and enhance customer customisations.
  • Continuing to enhance and expand the map as new features and products get rolled out.
